install error

I have a mac and have been trying to install the updated flash player.  I have tried numerous times but it never works.  i have re-installed it over 15 times now, I have done all of the troubleshooting that the webpage provides, and still - nothing.  Please help.

Download the offline installer:

Flash Player 12.0.0.44 (Mac OS X)

Quit your browser.

Mount the DMG but DO NOT RUN the installer. Right click and "Show Package Contents.

In Contents/Resources, double click the Adobe Flash Player.pkg

and run the COCOA installer.
