Trouble opening Presenter 9 on Mac

I was told that I can use Presenter 9 on Mac. I am not able to open Presenter 9 on my Mac.  I need information re: the Operation System that is needed to use Presenter 9 on a Mac?

Adobe Presenter has always been a Windows only application. Tech specs here: http://www.adobe.com/products/presenter/tech-specs.html

There is the Video Express tool that is available through the App store on your Mac that is the Presenter Video Creator application for Mac, but that is all that is available on the Mac side as far as Presenter is concerned. You can look at Captivate, as that is available for both Mac and PC OS's.
