Cant install flash on windows 7

Playing radio program from windows 7 pc has stopped working and has asked me to install flash. I have dowloaded and run the install several times, i have run the uninstall app from adobe and reinstalled. I have checked in manage add ons in internet explorer that flsh/shockwave is both present and enabled. the adobe test shows it as not present/ enabled. Any ideas?

Do you have ActiveX Filtering enabled?  Disable it.

What is your IE version?
