2. Re: Move audio and video between tracks simultaneously
shooternz Feb 16, 2014 7:30 PM (in response to MISTAVAN)There is a practical logic why one moves Audio and Video separately.
Audio does not care what track its on...but video does (layering).
Audio tracks are frequently checkerboarded ( A&B'd) to create overlaps and enable J & L Cuts to Video.
It would be too easy to overwrite audio if it chased video track for track.
You need to use track and source targeting to organise your timeline if thats your requirement.
If the Video and Audio are linked

3. Re: Move audio and video between tracks simultaneously
MISTAVAN Feb 16, 2014 7:36 PM (in response to shooternz)Found out that you can do what I had hoped by: selecting the clip, moving the video to the desired track, not letting go of the mouse, then press shift and then moving the audio to the desired track.
A little hand heavy but I like the flexibliity to indivdually select on which tracks to land on.

shooternz Feb 16, 2014 8:05 PM (in response to MISTAVAN)There ya go. Control by targetting the tracks with one hand and one finger.

5. Re: Move audio and video between tracks simultaneously
JSS1138 Feb 17, 2014 8:12 AM (in response to MISTAVAN)It would be nice if there was a modifier to just keep then track-synced as you move one, much like when dragging from the Source Monitor.
