1. Re: Creative Cloud App keeps logging me out and telling me I need to register my software.
Rajshree Feb 18, 2014 9:12 PM (in response to Gloughman)Hi Gloughman,
Welcome to Adobe Forum,
So try these steps:
1) Sign out of the Creative Cloud app
2) delete the opm.db file*
3) update to the latest version of the Creative Cloud app.
*On Windows 7, the opm.db file is located here:
C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
*On a Mac, go here:
[Userdir]:Library:Application Support:Adobe

duane_shrode Feb 25, 2014 10:13 AM (in response to Gloughman)So I just went through all the file renaming with an Adobe rep... nothing worked - come to find out it was my LAN settings! Fixed and downloading lovely CC products as we speak.

Gloughman Feb 25, 2014 3:57 PM (in response to duane_shrode)I actually had a representative go through and remote to my computer. Didn't work for more than one time of me closing my laptop. It's absolutely rediculous, escpecially since it only opens the program and not my file after I accept the terms and aggreements again. I paid for my programs, I actively pay for my programs, they need to FIX this problem, because it is clearly not a remote incident. I've seen this same post all over the place.

duane_shrode Feb 25, 2014 4:19 PM (in response to Gloughman)My computer defaults to proxy LAN settings. I had to change my defaults to keep it from doing that. I think your defaults are probably making this a reaccuring problem... at least, that was my problem.

5. Re: Creative Cloud App keeps logging me out and telling me I need to register my software.
Gloughman Feb 25, 2014 4:21 PM (in response to duane_shrode)That was the first thing we did when I was in the chat with a help representative. After that didn't work, he remoted in and supposedly fixed the problem. Open up InDesign the next day, and I'm logged off again and the same thing is happening.
