adobe player not working in windows 8

hello

my computer has got factory installed windows 8..when attepting to open video it couldnt open file because of my adobe flash player were not working..Many attept to install adobe flash player failed because its says my computer is already equipped with  adobe flash player in windows 8..please give immediate attention to correct my problem
