2. Re: Content simulator gone on Debug view
Delcasda Feb 20, 2014 10:03 PM (in response to Udaya)Windows 8.1 , Flash Pro CC v 13.1.0.226 , AIR SDK 4.0.0.1619 .
Facing issue on both Android and iOS.
Steps to reproduce, if I use CTRL+ENTER I get the Air debugger and the simulator but if I try Debug>Debug Movie>In AIR Debug Launcher (Mobile) I just get the Air Debugger Window. The simulator shows for a moment while there is a message says "Exporting SWF movie" but after that disappear.

3. Re: Content simulator gone on Debug view
Udaya Feb 21, 2014 12:48 AM (in response to Delcasda)Unable to reproduce it with AIR SDK 4.0.0.1628.
Is this issue specific to a project or is it observed with new document as well ?
Open Flash CC and create a new AIR for android/IOS and add a trace statement in actions panel .
Please let us know if the issue is reproducible. If not , then provide us the project file if you can to reproduce the issue.
Regards
Udaya

4. Re: Content simulator gone on Debug view
Delcasda Feb 21, 2014 10:48 AM (in response to Udaya)I have created a new AIR Android and is working fine so it is related to projects created already, maybe before last CC update. I will try to copy and paste old stuff to new blank files to try to solve it.
UPDATE: copy/paste old stuff into new blank file solve the problem. Many thanks

5. Re: Content simulator gone on Debug view
tomaugerdotcom Mar 27, 2014 9:19 AM (in response to Udaya)I can confirm this issue with Air 4.0.0.1240 targeting iOS, on a windows 7 PC, Flash CC.
It certainly has to do with logging trace statements to the output panel. This brings the Flash IDE back to the foreground, and as soon as that happens, the simulator controls are lost (the actual simulated app still runs in foreground).
Where can we post a bug report for Flash CC / Air?
