I am confused. It seems like every time I send double-sided business cards to print, they come out misaligned and I can only salvage a few of the cards that happen to line up properly in the center. I don't know what I could be doing wrong! I usually create a 10-up layout for my cards. I use the rectangle frame tool to hold all of my images. I enter all the appropriate information and then I duplicate the page, delete the information from the front (but I leave the rectanular frames EXACTLY in the same place) and then enter my new information. So, ideally, the information did not move at all. The cut lines are in exactly the same place and so are the frames. Why, then, have I gotten prints that are terribly misaligned from the printers?
How are they being printed? Unless they are running on a press the machinery simply doesn't have the tolerances to get perfect front-to-back alignment, or even consistent positioning sheet to sheet, and you need to design to accomodate that.
