Hi,

I am trying to run a 3D book on my Safari 7.0.1 installed on MAC OS X 10.9.1. I got an error:

Yet, when I am checking on Adobe's website, it looks like I have the latest version:

Any idea?

Thank you for your time.

AS2 is obsolete.

Have you tried using the Standalone player?

Flash Player 12 Projector

That's NOT an installer. It's an app you just put in your Applications folder.

How to perform a "clean install" of Flash Player in Mac OS X

Gotta say, though... that error message looks like one that usually comes from older software or websites with an ancient detection script.
