Got notice to update flash. Downloaded & installed update this past weekend, apparently successfully. Since then, all sites that use flash have told me it's out of date and I need to download the update! (I have even re-downloaded and re-installed, no change). I use Safari browser.

How to perform a "clean install" of Flash Player in Mac OS X

Sometimes it's best to just get a fresh start.

Thanks...

That looks pretty scary!

I went into Safari preferences, where it tells me the version of Flash I have has critical security issues and only sites marked Allow Always will get to use it (none of mine are so marked).

Do you know what that's about?

Most times, the security issues are Windows related, but there are risks for Mac users too... just not as severe or frequent. Regardless, it's best to update when needed.

The "Clean Install" isn't as tough as it looks. Those steps are written precisely in the order they need to be done, and I wrote them very specifically when it came to detail. IT takes about three minutes start to finish.

I understand - but I HAVE updated it!

Maybe I can give it a try later or tomorrow, have to do something else right now. Appreciate the detail and reply.
