Yes, if you have not closed the file, that is you are in editing mode when you accidently made some made some modification, you can select Edit / Undo (or Redo), this will revert to the previous action. Repeat until you get to the desired state.
You have to be on the View Responses tab to do the above.

OK, then maybe you made (by accident) some changes prior to your current editing session. You might have edited the form, made 'change1', closed the form, and reopened it. At this point you cannot use Edit / Undo to undo 'change1'.
It looks like you need to undo your changes manually. You could take a look at the View Responses table history to see what you had before. At the View Responses tab, click on the clock-history icon on your lower right corner, you will see the History bar and you can select a previous version to see.
The View Responses table history was exactly what I needed! Thank you! I've always seen the clock icon but never knew what it did, and never felt the urge to check until now. In retrospect, it makes perfect sense that it's a history icon!
