Using Flash with Captivate

I am a HS teacher and am new to Captivate 7. Currently I create simple quizzes for my students and embed the quizzes in Moodle. I want to create simple lab exercises that contain interactive animations and was wondering if the best way to go about this is to create animations in Flash and then import them into my Captivate project or is there a better way to do this with Captivate?

I want to do stuff like have students choose a beaker and have that beaker move and pour into another beaker - stuff like that. I hope this question isn't too vague.

If you want to have communication between Captivate and Flash, you'd better create Widgets. You can embed pure animations into Captivate (some can even be created in Captivate using the Effects, will just give you a link with a simple example: http://blog.lilybiri.com/reset-effects
