One fix for signout problems http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1408331?tstart=0
Hi! I had the same problem. After trying all of the suggestions in these forums - such as deleting the OPM file, I contact my companies IT support. It turns out I had malware that was blocking my sign in. They uninstalled BrowserSafeguard by Rockettab, and I was able to successfully sign in and download. I would search your computer for malware.
