Hi,

As the title says i can´t install Flash Player. I always get that sentence La connexion a échoué. Impossible de terminer l'installation. The directdownload doesn´t work. It always says that it isn´t a Win Application.

The installer isn´t working.

And with the clean install it isn´t working too. It goes to 9-12 % and then comes something in French,

Does it still give the "Not a Valid Win32 Application" error?

'tis a bad download, then.

That means a portion of either the "lead-in" or "EOF" is being cut off.

Downloaded files have three parts:

Lead-in = ID's the file type, name, source and size.

The file itself = the data that makes up the download.

EOF - End Of File. Indicates that the download has successfully completed.

If the "Lead-in" is corrupted, your system doesn't know how much to download or when to stop downloading.

If the EOF doesn't download or is corrupted, Windows won't recongize the file as a complete download - hence the "Not a Valid Win32 Application" error.

Most common cause = Antivirus or firewall.

If ti happens even with a direct download like I linked to previously, something is corrupting it.

Try disabling your antivirus and redownloading the linked file(s).

Check the download size; the two installers that Mike linked to

install_flash_player_ax.exe is 16,889 KB (17,293,704 bytes);

install_flash_player.exe is 17,461 KB (17,879,432 bytes);

If you have different download sizes, then your downloads are corrupted.  Download again.
