Can't complete Flash Drive install...I get through all the steps, then stops after Password input. I have Mac OS 10.9.2 and am using Firefox as my browser. Everything seems to go smooth, until after I input my computer password and double click the Install Flash Player icon...then nothing happens. Help

Tell you what.

Here's JUST the package. Adobe Flash Player.pkg

"Download Linked File as" and save that.

Quit Safari and double click it to run the Cocoa installer.

Download the FULL offline installer: Flash Player 12.0.0.70 (Mac OS X)

Save it and quit your browser.

Double click the download to mount the DMG - DO NOT RUN the installer!

Right click the installer and "Show Package Contents".

Not necessary. The COCOA installer will overwrite any existing files.

Mike,

Got as far as single clicking (I’m on Mac) the flash player icon and went to File and there was no “Show Package Content” on the drop down list.

Mike,

I’m downloading or attempting to download this flash player while in Brazil. So far the only step that I am not able to complete is trying to get to the “Show Contents Package” I’ve attempted to also use your control + click method (I am on a Macbook Pro) but still now “Show Contents Package” line. I am sending you screenshots of when I do the control+click method and also the highlighting of the Flash Player icon and going to the drop down menu under file. So far your info has been very helpful and I’m hoping to get over this hurdle.

Best,

Aldric
