    Hurray for smaller transitions!

Here's my source for some of what's coming up in Premiere Pro's next update: http://www.creativeimpatience.com/a-glimpse-of-the-things-to-come/#more-1205.

When CC came out, I gave Adobe hell over the unproductively large transitions they copied from FCP7.  Thankfully, the cries of everyone who spoke up against this nonsense have been heard and Adobe has fixed their mistake!  THANK YOU ADOBE!!!!

Unfortunately, the preview video also shows things that haven't been fixed yet:

      - The ridiculously wide Project tab (Call it 'Project'. Period! No need to put 'Project:' + the whole project name, making the tab much wider than it needs to be, and often pushing other window tabs out of view!  Adobe, please fix this already.  It should be a very quick fix, and would be very much appreciated by all those who edit with limited screen real estate)

      - The painfully impractical bonding of Multi-camera angles and preview monitor in the same window.  Why this is such a terrible design is so obvious, there's no need to repeat the reasons I listed in my other thread regarding this.

What the linked video above proves is that although Adobe makes mistakes, when we cry foul loud enough, they do listen and fix them.  Lets keep doing our part to see Premiere Pro become the NLE we want and deserve by letting Adobe know what we think in online forums and especially here: www.adobe.com/go/wish.

Of course, thanking Adobe for what they do right also helps, so thank you Adobe once again for finally giving us reasonably sized transitions!
