1. Re: Can we preview video without FX?
JSS1138 Feb 24, 2014 12:44 PM (in response to Wermount2323)It's not the same as it is in Vegas, but you can get there.
If you apply the effects to an Adjustment Layer instead of the clips directly, you can turn that on and off with the eyeball in the track header.

Wermount2323 Feb 23, 2014 2:09 PM (in response to JSS1138)But how I EVEN can do that if I have over 70 collor corrected clips?
I have to colorize every one clip separately. One is brighter, second id darker so every clip I can colorize in a different way. How can I do that on only one big adjustment layer? It's impossible to do. Because I cannot cut adjustment layer in over 70 cuts. -

Ann Bens Feb 23, 2014 2:17 PM (in response to Wermount2323)No you make an adjustment layer for each clip and line them up in the same track.
Easy to turn on or off by poking the eyeball.
Place an adjustment layer (AL) over a clip.
Cut effect from clip and paste it in the AL.

Sure, you can. And in fact, you'll have to for this to work.

6. Re: Can we preview video without FX?
PierreLouisBeranek Mar 14, 2014 1:53 PM (in response to Wermount2323)Hi, using 70+ adjustment layers would give you way too much work and would become extremely unwieldy when trimming or moving clips around. A very bad suggestion IMO.
Here's a much better suggestion:
- right-click on your sequence in your Project Window
- select 'Duplicate' from the context-menu
- open your duplicated sequence in your Timeline and select all of the clips in it (CTRL-A on Windows)
- right-click on your clip selection
- select 'Remove Effects...' from the context-menu and choose which type of effects you want to remove from the pop up window.
Voilá! You now have a duplicate of your sequence sans effects!
5 easy steps versus the 70+ steps suggested above.
Now to thank me, please send Adobe an official Feature Request (FR), suggesting they add your idea of a 1 button effects on/off toggle: www.adobe.com/go/wish. Then copy/paste your FR here so that other can copy it and send it as their own to help support your idea.
Cheers
