Problems Updating Flash on Mac

When I am trying to update to the most recent version of Flash I keep on getting an error message saying that I have to quit safari before it can proceed, even though I have quit Safari. This persisted even when I restarted my computer. Help?

Also, "MenuTab" - It's a Facebook plug-in. If you use it, it'll show Safari still open even after you quit the app. You'll need to quit it.
