Has anyone else had this happen?
Yes, I have no idea why. Sometimes Chrome will find the file for one time only when I use 'Preview in Chrome' via DW then I'll have to to use the 'file open' method as the page usually cannot be found using 'Preview in Chrome'.
I'm on a Mac as well. 10.6.4 (whatver that is Snow Leopard maybe and Chrome 33.0.1750.152 (Whatever that is)

Nancy O. Mar 17, 2014 3:26 PM (in response to jl2000)Chrome is a strange browser at times. I don't understand it either. That's why I don't use it as my default testing browser.

jdacko Mar 17, 2014 7:46 PM (in response to jl2000)Chrome wont open your web pages from Dreamweaver if the files are on your USB key. If you place your files onto your computer (onto your desktop, for example), Chrome WILL open your file in the browser via "Preview In Browser". Hope this helps...

thanks for the tip. I never made the connection as to why this issue was occasional.
I almost always work from an external drive unless I'm traveling and put the site on the desktop. In addition I just recently started to use Chrome as my primary preview browser but this soured that deal.
Back to FF.
Thanks again.
Josh
