Try dragging the effect to inside the clip near the end.

jaymcdonald Mar 18, 2014 7:20 AM (in response to JSS1138)Yes. It looks like I may have encountered a bug. I'm running CS5 under Mountain Lion. I had googled to see if there were any known issues, but everything seemed to say they were compatible with no problems. I have also noticed a similarly weird issue on the UI of another application.

jaymcdonald Mar 18, 2014 12:51 PM (in response to jaymcdonald)Well, out of frustration, I uninstalled the whole Creative Suite, then reinstalled and ran all the updates again. It seems to be working properly now. Go figure.
