They can continue to sell CS6 downloads from Adobe.com for quite some time. Why not? It doesn't actually cost much to speak of. But it makes sense that they are trying to push resellers towards CC. They believe CC to be the future.
Most of the people who really resent CC are those who already own CS6 anyway. Or they own 5.5 and were waiting for CS7 to upgrade - and it never came.
I would personally be interested to hear from anyone not in that category who wanted to buy CS6 but couldn't. I doubt any hang out here. Or, at least, not enough of them to make any significant difference. There might be a few who ned extra seats, but those will be available for a while yet.

Exactly.
I figure most of the people who want CS6 already have it. The rest either move to another program or go the CC route.
So why should Adobe still try to sell CS6 through resellers when they are better off trying to sell CC?
