Adobe does still sell standalone CS6 programs, see if what you want is there

Because everything new is now sold via the Cloud (if it is not included in the CS6 page above)

Liz, Typekit Support Mar 26, 2014 12:57 PM (in response to Barkin Bob)Hello Barkin Bob,
Typekit does require the Creative Cloud application to sync the fonts from your account to the desktop computer. Unfortunately, it isn't possible to sync desktop fonts on OS X 10.6, as you know, since the Creative Cloud software isn't available for that version. You would need to update your OS to a higher version that Creative Cloud supports.
I'm sorry that there isn't another option we can offer you at this time, but please let me know if you have any other questions. Best,

Barkin Bob Mar 27, 2014 7:33 AM (in response to Liz, Typekit Support)Hi Liz,
Thanks for your reply. As I mentioned, my machine is too old to upgrade the operating system! That said, I've just discovered I can access Typekit via the font menu in inDesign CC so although I can't synch fonts I can use them, so I'm a happy boy again!
