1. Re: How do I connect to PhoneGap Build?
Randy Edmunds Mar 26, 2014 7:54 AM (in response to Laurence MacNeill)In the latest version, there's an icon in the vertical toolbar on the right to open the PhoneGap Build panel on the bottom. Is that what you're looking for?

bchinTX Mar 26, 2014 9:32 AM (in response to Laurence MacNeill)Hey, Laurence,
Check out this blog post. Christian walks you thru the Phone Gap Build extension, including where to find it and how to install it.
And, yes, it looks like, in your originally referenced video link above, Don is using an older version of Edge Code, which has the extensions bar on the top of the editor window. We've since moved it to vertically along the right side.
Hope this helps,
Bryan

3. Re: How do I connect to PhoneGap Build?
Laurence MacNeill Mar 26, 2014 1:32 PM (in response to Randy Edmunds)The bar on the right-hand side of my Edge Code CC program shows the following icons: Live Preview, Extension Manager, Preview on Devices Using Edge Inspect CC, Generate Edge Web-Fonts Embed Code, and way down at the bottom, Talk to the Team.
So there is no PhoneGap icon there...
Juding by what's in that blog post that bchinTX linked, I need to install something to enable the PhoneGap extension? But that blog-post was actually pretty old (Oct, 2012, which is ancient in PhoneGap history), and I'm not sure it will work for Edge Code CC -- he was using Brackets., not Edge Code CC. Do I really want to go to a 2-year-old GitHub repository and try to install an extension from there? Will that actually work?
Please send me an updated link to the proper Edge Code CC extension -- if it's available -- or confirm for me that the nearly 2-year-old Brackets extension from that linked blog will actually still work in a new install of Edge Code CC.
Thanks,
L.

4. Re: How do I connect to PhoneGap Build?
Laurence MacNeill Mar 26, 2014 2:21 PM (in response to Laurence MacNeill)When I go to Extensions Manager, and click Browse Extensions, I can find a PhoneGap Plugin extension. I download it, and unzip it, but I cannot find where to install it. There is no www/extensions/user folder inside the Contents folder in my Applications folder.. I have the following folders inside the Contents folder: Frameworks, MacOS, Resources, and _CodeSignature. Where do I install this extension?
Thanks,
L.

cfjedimaster Mar 26, 2014 2:25 PM (in response to Laurence MacNeill)If you use the EM to get the bits, you don't have to install it. It
should be done for you. To find your extension folder, do:
Help, Show Extensions Folder

Laurence MacNeill Mar 26, 2014 2:25 PM (in response to Laurence MacNeill)Oh -- never mind. I copied the URL of the .zip file I downloaded into the Extensions manager, and it installed it by itself. Looks like it's working now. :-)
Thanks,
L.
