Hello,
I need to render out a 1080p quicktime sequence that would be as lossless as possible. I'm working in Premiere CS6 (newest version) on Windows 7.
Every time I render out my project using either the quicktime "animation" or quicktime "none" presets, the result is grainy and horrible, it looks almost like the footage has been reduced to 256 colors or something.
Here is a 100% crop of a piece of the footage in my project window:
And here is a 100% crop from an exported quicktime file:
The whole image is somehow covered with grain or something.
Weird thing is, if I export using, for example, DV PAL Widescreen codec, everything looks fine, however I would really need to use qt animation at least. The footage was shot with a dslr and has been very slightly color corrected in premiere.
Can anyone tell me how I could get a decent result qith qt animation or qt none codecs?
Does it need to be QuickTime? That's an often problematic container that I generally recommend avoiding.
