Can't enable or activate Flash Player 12

After having installed Flash Player 12, I'm still getting the message "Adobe Flash Player was blockeed because it is out of date".

But when trying to install the uptade, I get a message telling me that it has already installed but not enabled yet.

As I'm using Avant browser, I've been told to check that the default rendering engine is well on Chrome.

I've also enabled the plug-in Flash Player in the list chrome:// plugins.

I still don't have Flash Player enabled under Avant browser after having done all this, when it is under the browsers Chrome and IE.

How to do a clean install of Flash Player

That won't affect Chrome because Google embeds the PepperFlash plug-in themselves and you can't download it from here.
