How do I add author and publisher to my library?

I had to begin a new bookshelf to comply with Google Play. They want epub files as well as regular files for my books. I created a new bookshelf for my published e-books (Smashwords and Amazon.Kindle), but I can't figure out how to add my name to one of the books or my publisher name to any of them. Help!
