I have downloaded Flash Player dozens of times, But it doesn't work. When I try to read something it tell me I need Flash Player.

Okay, you'd need Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)

That's a direct link to the installer (http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/support/install_flash_player_ax.exe)

Right click and choose "Save target as".

If it won't download that way, you've got anti-virus or firewall blocking it.

flash player is on my program list under control panel. should I close my firewall and reinstall?
