Steven L. Gotz Apr 7, 2014 6:35 AM (in response to PierreLouisBeranek)I think that my favorite is going to be
- A new Set To Frame Size command has been added, preserving the full resolution of media without rasterizing (as with Scale To Frame Size).
That has been on my wish list since the very beginning.
There are a lot of cool things in the next release, but that one is going to help me personally more than any other.

JSS1138 Apr 7, 2014 7:36 AM (in response to Steven L. Gotz)That feature comes just in time for me.
With the utter lack of affordable, fast zoom lenses, the forthcoming GH4 will present a workable solution. I can shoot at 4K using a fast prime lens, then edit for 1080 delivery, cropping and zooming in post. Set to Frame Size will allow me to get the clips into the sequence fitting the frame, but without losing the integrity of the image for when I want to 'zoom in' by scaling the footage back up.
