I have some long URLs, and I want to keep the whole url together so that it doesn't break from one line to the next. Is that possible?

You can try

Format > Document > Text Options

Allow Line Breaks After:

[ / - \= \m ]

and remove the characters at which breaks occur, probably including "/".
