I have a new, out of the box Gateway laptop with Windows 7 and I  use Firefox. I keep getting a pop up that says "Gateway. Please install  Flash player". So I uninstall and use the Flash Player uninstaller and  then reinstall. No matter what I do, I keep getting this pop up. How do I  fix it or is there a problem with FP 12.0.?

No, I'm seeing a what box with the word GATEWAY and that logo at the top then the words "Please Download Latest Version of Flash Player". I just got a new Gateway laptop and they say this is not their problem as they have no fix for this. It gets rather annoying when it pops up and reinstalling FP doesn't seem to work. I've even used the Uninstaller for FP and nothing.

Help please.

Do a clean install of Flash Player

THAT should take care of it.

I have done that, TWICE.

IF Flash does work, it's jumpy and still get the same problem of that pop up.

Thanks, tho.

About 1 week ago, I started receiving the same pop-up; see below.

Gateway has never seen this pop-up and Avast Free Anitvirus 2015.10, Advanced SystemCare 8 Pro and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 2.04 Free did not find any possible suspects.

Do you have any other suggestions for me?

Thanks!

Jim
