Where is it?

I did not see where I installed FP on my newly built system, so I went to install FP 12. Windows 7, Internet Explorer 9. Every time the download reaches 50% it goes to a page asking me to select my browser? It has I.E there (the only selection), but the box you check is red with black. I can't click it. It wants me to retry which I did many times with no luck. So I go see if it's installed. No folders or files on my system, but on the verification page, I do see the cloud passing by which means its installed. I'm confused mainly because I like to clear the peer stuff each night before I shut down. I can't find the folder to create a link to clear that history.

Any help?
