Recording - Black screens/no red frame

I am using Captivate 2. I have been working on a training movie all week and today when I tried to record additional slides I do not see the red frame when I choose record and if I click on record, it does record but the slides are black.

Any idea?

Hi,
I had this problem in Captivate 3. For me it occured when I did recording using two monitors and then later went to another site and had one monitor. Captivate sends the red frame off to the "other" monitor even though not connected.

If you dont have dual monitors, open your project and try to insert a new recording. This may pull the red frame back.

Thank you - Thank you! That was exactly the problem. I did record using two monitors and then went to one monitor. After reading your post, I went back to the dual monitor, and I 'found' the red frame! You saved my project and my sanity.
