The way that I understand things, web browsers send all thier
page requests to the web server, which in turn identifies which
pages need to be processed by an application server (i.e. CFM, ASP,
etc) and sends the request to the appropriate application server.
The application server then processes the request and returns HTML
(usually) and the web server then presents this to the client. Is
it possible to change a setting so that .html or .htm files are
send to coldfusion for processing in addition to .cfml files (in
Microsoft IIS)? If so, does anyone know of a howto article out
there? Just curious.
