Pattie F Apr 10, 2014 11:18 AM (in response to PoliceDog10)With Revel you can either share a link to an album or you can invite trusted friends/family to join a group library.
An example of their uses can be
1) you go to an event and take photos. Others there want copies. You put all the photos in an album in revel, make it a shared album, enable downloads, and send a link to the album to your friends who attended. They are able to view and download the photos you posted there.
2) You want to share photos but don't want anyone to download them- You put all the photos in an album in revel, make it a shared album, disable downloads, and send a link to the album to people.
3) You want your parents, kids, and spouse to see all your family photos and add theirs as well. You put all the family photos in a library, create albums in the library for each year, activity, month, or whatever to organize them. You add the appropriate photos from the library to each album. You then invite your family members to join your revel group library by adding the email they use for their revel accounts as members of that library. Now it shows up in their account also, and they can add photos as well as see yours.
Here is a link that describes how share either way.

PoliceDog10 Apr 11, 2014 9:56 AM (in response to Pattie F)Hi Pattie thanks for that reply but you still didn't quite answer my question. I KNOW I can share an album...the question is how do I share ALL of my albums at once?

3. Re: Sharing ALL my pics
Pattie F Apr 11, 2014 10:41 AM (in response to PoliceDog10)I understand what you are asking, but revel is organized differently than photoshop.com as they were developed independently as different products with different focus.
The only way to share your library, which includes all albums and photos, and videos within it, is by adding your family and friends that you trust (who must be revel users) to your library. This makes them all members of a group library and gives them access to view, edit, and add photos and videos to the library and any of the albums. (they can't delete photos that they did not add, but they can delete ones they do add) In this case, you can all add captions, comments, favorites, etc, and the group album will show up in every member's list of libraries.
This does make you all collaborators of this library though, not just viewers. If the owner of the library (you) has a revel premium subscription, then you and others can add unlimited photos without the others needing to have their own premium subscription. They can remain free users.
Alternately, if you just want people to be able to view and maybe download photos, you could make an album within the library and add all of the photos in the whole library to that album. Then, you could share the link to that album.
I hope that helps.
Pattie
