My Adobe Flash Player crashes

I have been to Applesupport two times.....today the tech person at Apple was able to help me get Firefox downloaded and it shows in my tool bar BUT I am trying to get Adobe Flash Player and it keeps crashing when attempting to install so I was advised to contact Adobe support.
