    100% Width Not 100% Grid

    --@@--

With most designs you want a fluid header/footer but you want you content centered within a max 1180 Grid (not edge to edge). Can you do this in Reflow without having to nest divs and give it a max-width. (Doing this only allows you access to about 10 columns of your 12 column grid, which makes the concept of the grid a little pointless).

I have the same issues, I need some elements that would be 100% width in my design, but the content itself to work in 12 column grid at a max of 1200/1180px to allow those full width

Right now you have to have 100% for the columns widths to allow those full width rows to fill browser but it then makes it hard to work to 12 col grid of 100px columns. I would like to set grid to 1200px and snap to this, but for this grid to work in background and not itself act as a container for all elements then added. Sites like http://www.desk.com/ and http://www.shopify.com/ demonstrate this type of design.

Currently I have a 12 column graphic I can use as a background, but of course I cannot snap to grid with this. Maybe guides would be an answer as an alternative?

I would also love to see an assets librray where I could store common elements (e.g blog listing) and drag onto page as well as a swtaches, so if I use colour swatch "primary" on lots of elements on the pages, I can go and change the "primary swatch colour" and everything is just updated.

we're aware of this issue, there was another post on the forum where it was discussed as well.

We aren't able to solve your exact request yet for fully customized grids per object.

But we are increasing the grid count that is allowed as a first step in improving grids. Look for that improvement in the next release!

              Thanks Seth, good to know

Funny enough. just spent a couple more hours on Reflow trying to simulate a real web design project. Realised tonight how annoying it is that I cannot drag cursor over three different elements (think 3 featured products) to select them and simply copy so I have another three features below (6 total). Somtimes it not till you cannot do something, you realise how much you use it.

I am sure this has been discussed and you are aware of all these things etc...

yup, copy/paste and multi-select-drag are also coming in the next release!

This is a must have feature for the agency I work at. We design brochure-ware websites using bootstrap for 99% of our projects. Being able to design around a similar grid system with pixel set column widths and gutters for content and full width background-size: cover; etc is paramount. The promise of a someday usable Reflow is the only thing keeping me in the Photoshop game and away from Sketch. If Sketch adds breakpoints, watch out.

                    This.
