1. Re: Adding Themes to Edge Code
Randy Edmunds Dec 23, 2013 5:01 PM (in response to Aquarius7373)There are Extensions that implement Themes:
In Edge Code, use File > Extension Manager, then Install from URL..., and paste in one of the URLs.

2. Re: Adding Themes to Edge Code
marcin.ukleja Apr 13, 2014 1:06 PM (in response to Randy Edmunds)Unfortunately it (Miguel's extension) is not supported in Edge Code. After forcing (manual copy to folder) extension to be activated the only thing is menu called Themes - without any dropdown options.
I'm CC user and would like to stick to Edge Code rather than Brackets.

3. Re: Adding Themes to Edge Code
Ben Pleysier Apr 13, 2014 1:18 PM (in response to marcin.ukleja)I guess that there are drawbacks to using a preview versions of any software product. From what I hear, once Brackets has reached its first full release, Edge Code will be released with extras not found in Brackets.
In the meantime we'll have to be patient and/or use Brackets if we want to satisfy our curiosity.

4. Re: Adding Themes to Edge Code
bchinTX Apr 14, 2014 9:30 AM (in response to marcin.ukleja)Unfortunately, there were underlying Brackets changes that resulted in this incompatibility with some extensions updated for the latest release of Brackets. Edge Code will catch up with these Brackets changes in the next release.
In the meantime, as already noted, Jacse's themes extension still works the current version of Edge Code.
However, if you prefer Miguel's extension, you can still install his older 0.5.0 version in the current Edge Code release. Just install using this archive URL:

Hope this helps,

Randy Edmunds Apr 14, 2014 10:19 AM (in response to bchinTX)The Extension Manager will load previous version for you, but since you're loading from a URL, you'll have to use a URL from a previous commit/version. Try this one:

6. Re: Adding Themes to Edge Code
marcin.ukleja Apr 14, 2014 10:30 AM (in response to Randy Edmunds)It works in terms of installing but doesn't work. Menu "Theme" Has only Settings and Reset - no themes itself.
I hit Reset and now trying to get back to default one...

Diab64 Sep 21, 2014 4:29 PM (in response to marcin.ukleja)Go here: https://github.com/MiguelCastillo/Brackets-Themes/releases
And try them one by one from the top till you find one that works. Just right-click on the "Source code (zip)" button, go to Copy Link Location, and then paste it into Edge Code's extension manager. The version 1.0.3 one worked for me; using Edge Code version: experimental build 0.98.0-359086273 (Preview).
@Randy Edmunds
Just wanted to say thanks for the concise explanation on their installation. I saw those themes linked in another thread but no explanation was offered as to how to install them. I tried downloading the files and sticking them in random folders for almost an hour before I found your post about having to install them from URL.

manchagnu Oct 1, 2014 4:55 PM (in response to Aquarius7373)I never noticed this thread was around, but better late than never.
I did a rewrite in Themes v2.0.0 in order to integrate with the Themes API I added in Brackets. I have not tested my extension with Edge Code, but it seems like there is a gap I need to close. I am to take a look tonight and figure out how I can help you guys.
