I am attempting to download and install the latest Flash Player update and it asks me to close "DashboardClient". No idea what that is! Can anyone enlighten me please?

Applications/Utilities>Activity Monitor

Sort the list according to app name.

click (individually) on ANYTHING that reads "Dashboard" or "MenuTab" and click the octagonal icon at the top left to terminate it.

Once they're all done, run the installer and reboot.
