JSS1138 Apr 17, 2014 8:18 AM (in response to lisaellensegal)You're seeing the full audio signal, but in an odd and fairly useless way, called rectified audio. It's Adobe's way of drawing in the FCP X crowd, which shows the audio in this oddball manner. You can return things to normal in the sequence flyout menu by unchecking Rectified Audio.
You may also note that by default, and also to cater to the FCP crowd, Adobe has turned off the far superior Track Mixer and given us instead the much less useful Clip Mixer. You can correct this as well by closing the Clip Mixer window and reopening the Track Mixer under the Windows menu.
