1. Re: Why are my downloaded exchange files not showing?
fgregor Feb 11, 2014 8:39 AM (in response to Kelpie47)Hi Kelpie47,
Sorry to hear you're having trouble. I just tried installing this product, and I can see it listed under Window -> Extensions - it's in the bottom half of the menu after a dividing line, but it works OK for me.
Can you tell me whether it's listed in Extension Manager CC when you click on Photoshop CC in the left hand Products bar?
Is "Adobe Paper Texture" listed in /Applications/Adobe Photoshop CC/Plug-ins/Panels?
Regards,
Fraser

Kelpie47 Feb 11, 2014 8:49 AM (in response to fgregor)Hi
Thanks for the quick response.
In my Windows > Extensions menu I have no dividing line at all.
Yes, it appears in Extension Manager CC and is enabled.
I have nothing in the Adobe Photoshop CC/Plug-ins/Panels folder.
Thanks for your help

fgregor Feb 11, 2014 9:10 AM (in response to Kelpie47)Hi Pat,
Thanks for confirming. Can you see a file called com.adobe.adobepapertextures....zxp in the following location?:
/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Extension Manager CC/EM Store/Photoshop
If so, please copy it to your Desktop - then click "Remove" on the Adobe Paper Textures product in Extension Manager CC to uninstall it.
Then, try opening the com.adobe.adobepapertextures......zxp file in Extension Manager CC - which should install it afresh.

Fraser

Yes, that file is there and I followed your instructions. All apeared to be well but on restarting PS there is still no sign of the textures in the Windows > Extensions menu.

5. Re: Why are my downloaded exchange files not showing?
fgregor Feb 11, 2014 9:49 AM (in response to Kelpie47)Sorry for the obvious questions, but did you close Photoshop before installing, and is there still nothing in /Applications/Adobe Photoshop CC/Plug-ins/Panels?
If there's still nothing in the Panels folder, could you please uninstall again, set up logging as follows, retry installing and then email the logs to me at fgregor at adobe dot com?
To set up the Extension Manager logs you need to add the following two files.
1. Create a file called 'ExManCoreLibLog.YES' and place it in the following location:
/Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Extension Manager CC/Log/ExManCoreLibLog.YES
2. Then create a file named 'ExManLog.YES' and place it at:
MAC: /Applications/Adobe Extension Manager CC/Adobe Extension Manager CC.app/Contents/MacOS/ExManLog.YES
3. The logs files are generated and saved in the following location:
MAC: /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Extension Manager CC/Log
Many thanks,
Fraser
