1. Re: new laptop - cs6 too small to use!
Mylenium Apr 22, 2014 4:30 AM (in response to judith uk)This is a limitation you will have to live with - CS6 does not support high-DPI displays. Only the CC versions do. Whether or not using an external screen or changing the main display's resolution will work depends on the actual settings.

judith uk Apr 22, 2014 8:00 AM (in response to Mylenium)Thanks for your quick reply.
Does this mean that if I subscribe to cc the text on the palettes and tabs should be legible and I'll be able to use the programmes again?
I tried altering the laptop screen resolution to lower settings and this didn't have any effect - if I used an external screen with a lower resolution could that possible work?

Sandeep Singh Nov 20, 2014 3:04 PM (in response to judith uk)Hi judith uk,
Sorry for the trouble.
Photoshop CS6 does not support Hidpi monitors. We have to change the screen resolution to 1920*1080.
Please follow this Article from Microsoft to change the screen resolution: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-in/windows7/change-your-screen-resolution
Thanks,
Sandeep
