PRE 9 - Burning DVD.  Gets to 99% and Fails.

    PGoyette

      Message is:

      Internal software error:.\\Vobulator\BlockPlanner\BlockPlanner.cpp,line215

Does anybody know what that means?

p.s. I was able to build a Web DVD after a couple of attemps.

Worst case scenario, could I export the files and burn the files on DVD through the computers burner program?  Would that work?

      Thanks!

Are you able to burn your DVD files to a folder on your hard drive rather than directly to a disc?

            Hi Steve,

So I've managed to do the following:

            Web DVD

Build Web DVD for viewing online or on PC

            and

            Computers

Export files for viewing on computers

I'm still not able to do Disc (Burn DVD disc) from the Program.

So now I have on My Documents a folder name "Project Name" that holds the file type: chrome HTML document, F4V files, etc. that plays the web DVD with menu.

And I have a file name "Project Name" file type Movie Clip aswell as file name "Project Name.mpg.xmpses" file type XMPSES File.  The movie clip plays through Windows Media Player without the DVD Menu.

Any pointers on how I could still build a DVD to play on a DVD player?

            Thank you!

What Steve already asked in reply #1

Set your Premiere Elements DVD output to a folder on your hard drive and then use the FREE Imgburn to burn the folder to disc for DVD... Premiere Elements does NOT burn to a folder for BluRay (send the author a PayPal donation if you like his program)

              .

Read http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1322583 for notes on installing Imgburn WITHOUT any toolbar add-ons... Set Imgburn to use the slowest burn speed your drive and media will use... I set my burn speed to 1x and let Imgburn adjust to the actual minimum

Please hold off on any further ideas of burn to folder and ImgBurn until you check out the following detail.

Do you have a Stop Marker placed at the end of the last item on your Timeline? If so, please remove it and your issue should disappear.

Whenever I see "Vobulator" in an error message, I think Stop Marker.

Let us see if history repeats itself.

                Thanks.

Magnificient news. Can you hear me applauding your success?

Your follow up is very much appreciated and is a major contribution, encouraging others to think Stop Marker when faced with the Vobulator error.

Glad for the opportunity to be of assistance.

                    Best wishes
