BENBARIE Apr 12, 2014 1:18 AM (in response to AkilW)Thanks for the response, actually I work that way since the days of CS5.5 and never came across this issue, it appeared only after the update.
I work with Premiere and plurleyes daily basis, I did not do anything unusual
I will record the steps just like always and I'll post the video

WilfredAP Apr 14, 2014 2:19 PM (in response to BENBARIE)Same problem here! Had used Pluraleyes on a project before the 7.2.2 update and everything was fine.
BTW, I'm on OSX with Pluraleys 3.3.2, latest for mac.
Will fill in a bug report.
I'm lucky to have 4 long clips and used the build-in sync tool with some manual adjustments.

14. Re: Update 7.2.2 PP CC problems with plurleyes (With video)
bcpmike Apr 15, 2014 12:57 PM (in response to adamisaak)FYI, I am also having the same problem. Went so far as to reinstall PrCC and Pluraleyes, and no dice. The resulting timeline is not workable. Audio tracks disappear, and I even have one video track that cannot be razored with ANY tool or keystroke.

Kevin-Monahan Apr 15, 2014 1:05 PM (in response to bcpmike)Hi bcpmike,
Did you update Premiere Pro while working on a current project? Or is this behavior exhibited in a brand new project?
Thanks,
Kevin -

22. Re: Update 7.2.2 PP CC problems with plurleyes (With video)
MonkeyEatsMonkey Apr 16, 2014 11:27 PM (in response to Mark Mapes)Same problem. I tried importing XMLs from PluralEyes 3 and then 2.0.5, and I'm getting the same issue. The timeline is totally unresponsive and glitching out. I've been using PluralEyes for a while, and this has never been a problem with any other version of Premiere.
EDIT: I've managed to work around the issue by starting my project in CS6, then importing my PluralEyes XML there. Once I'm happy with the sync and have saved the project, I import the CS6 project into my CC project and continue working from there.

BENBARIE Apr 21, 2014 9:17 PM (in response to BENBARIE)Hey Kevin
I uploaded my files to the cloud
Why can not download or share in creative.adobe.com / files
What's the point?
I can not send

Kevin-Monahan Apr 21, 2014 9:40 PM (in response to BENBARIE)Sorry about that BENBARIE.
I hope we can resolve the issue of unsupported video formats for sharing on Creative Cloud soon, but for now, you can only share video files of certain formats, as listed on the web page you linked to.
Thanks,
Kevin

28. Re: Update 7.2.2 PP CC problems with plurleyes (With video)
_Ombra_ Apr 23, 2014 5:32 PM (in response to BENBARIE)Guys i think i might have found a work around. I work in IT and sometimes i get called by companies to fix this type of problems. Apparently there is a bug with Premiere in the way it handles PluralEyes XML. Here is how i discovered this workaround.
In older versions of Premiere, PluralEyes used to create an XML that once imported to Premiere, created duplicates of files, new timelines and all stereo audio tracks where split in 2 audio tracks so it got me thinking, what if Premiere is still trying to split those tracks but it can't because there are less of what he needs? Apparently the problem is related to the fact that if you have to sync 4 audio tracks and you only have those 4 in the timeline it won't import it properly.
So here is the work around:
If you have let's say, 4 tracks of audio, make sure to have double of that even if they are empty (so in this example 8). Then use PluralEyes Connector and do the process as expected.
The resulting timeline will have the following audio tracks: A1, A3, A5, A7 and so on (just proving my theory).
Hope this helps!

29. Re: Update 7.2.2 PP CC problems with plurleyes (With video)
Mark Mapes Apr 23, 2014 6:16 PM (in response to _Ombra_)Thanks to receiving sample XMLs from two customers, we've now been able to reproduce this issue in-house, and the engineering team is investigating the problem.
Thanks to those who took the time to provide test content for us. That kind of cooperation can be indispensible for us.
Until an update is released with a fix for this bug, a workaround (courtesy of one of your fellow users who also sent us test content) is to Select All in the imported PluralEyes sequence and paste into a matching sequence. This will leave empty audio tracks, which you can remove via the Delete Tracks command, with the Audio Tracks section set to All Empty Tracks (the default).
Our apologies for the inconvenience.

30. Re: Update 7.2.2 PP CC problems with plurleyes (With video)
_Ombra_ Apr 23, 2014 6:36 PM (in response to Mark Mapes)Mark i've tested this multiple times and the result is incorrect. Only half of the audio tracks get copied over to the new timeline. I tested with 4 and only 2 where pasted in the timeline. Please test the solution i posted above and you will see that the results are close to how it should work. All tracks get imported.

31. Re: Update 7.2.2 PP CC problems with plurleyes (With video)
Mark Mapes Apr 23, 2014 7:56 PM (in response to _Ombra_)The sequence I tested with was very small and simple, so I can't vouch for bigger, more complex cases. This is not my area of expertise, and I don't have a library of beefy PluralEyes XMLs to test with. If you have a workaround that's reliable, by all means stick with it.

32. Re: Update 7.2.2 PP CC problems with plurleyes (With video)
retro8869 Apr 23, 2014 8:00 PM (in response to Mark Mapes)I agree with _Ombra_: the workaround Mark Mapes has suggested is the first thing anyone would try, and it did not work for me.
This problem is not a glitch; it breaks the entire program. Save yourself lots of time and reinstall a previous version.

34. Re: Update 7.2.2 PP CC problems with plurleyes (With video)
retro8869 Apr 23, 2014 8:12 PM (in response to _Ombra_)_Ombra_, I confess I don't entirely understand your explanation - but CC's versatility as regards to mono vs stereo tracks, or its handling of the audio, didn't seem to be the problem for me. The timeline became so corrupted that I'm convinced that no amount of pasting, deleting, importing in different formats, with replaced audio, exporting from mono sequences, breaking export sequences into 15 minute bursts, or any other manual jiggerypokery can solve it.
I had 4 cameras and two separate sound channels running for about 3 hours, I was able to sync it perfectly with Pluraleyes 3.3 and CS6, remove all evidence of Pluraleyes lest it anger CC, and reimport. 11 o' clock and all's well.

35. Re: Update 7.2.2 PP CC problems with plurleyes (With video)
Joe Riggs Apr 23, 2014 8:16 PM (in response to _Ombra_)Apparently there is a bug with Premiere in the way it handles PluralEyes XML.
Not just with pluraleyes, there seems to be something with XML in Premiere CC in general. Any XML I genereate from CC results in an error, when I try to bring it into CS6 or even back into the program that craeted it CC.
I sent Mark the XML for examination.

36. Re: Update 7.2.2 PP CC problems with plurleyes (With video)
_Ombra_ Apr 23, 2014 8:17 PM (in response to retro8869)4 cameras and 2 audio channels:
-create a timeline with 12 audio tracks
-drop the footage and audio (you should have 4 video tracks, 6 audio tracks and 6 empty audio tracks)
-do the normal process to export to pluraleyes
Nothing manual or complicated about that. You just have to duplicate the amount of audio tracks and leave the additional tracks empty

kyfamiliar May 7, 2014 4:46 PM (in response to Mark Mapes)Any solutions so far?? I'm running into the same problem. The work around works but it takes extra time. Also, I noticed all of the duplicate files are being sent to the original bins instead of in a new bin like before.

38. Re: Update 7.2.2 PP CC problems with plurleyes (With video)
MonkeyEatsMonkey May 7, 2014 5:43 PM (in response to kyfamiliar)Or Adobe could just make synching work in Premiere. I would be fine with that. Having to use PluralEyes to begin with is kind of a pain.

39. Re: Update 7.2.2 PP CC problems with plurleyes (With video)
bcpmike May 13, 2014 12:00 PM (in response to _Ombra_)I tried this workaround, and it does create a new sequence with the same number of tracks, but that sequence cannot be edited or manipulated at all. I'm with Monkey. Can't Adobe just make this feature internal within the software? It would be SO much easier for larger sequences.
