    Rendering effects on timeline loops

When I hit the ENTER key to render effect on the timeline the render process loops, regardless of the number of clips under the work area bar. In the dialog box both the number of files files rendered and number of files files to be rendered counters continuously increment and the progress bar starts "jittering" as it crosses 50%. Apparently this process IS writing something because a cleared cache starts filling up with files during the process.

If cancelled, the red render lines still appear on the timeline.

This is my first real edit session after the last batch of updates; never had THIS problem before?

      Any ideas?

          Hi OKSound,

Thanks for posting on Adobe forums.

          1. Please try to render the timeline in parts using work area bar.

          2. Please tell us what type of footages you are using ?

          3. Do you have any transition or image on the timeline ? if yes try to remove and render the timeline.

          4. Try to change the preview file format from Sequence Settings

              a. Select the sequence you are working on.

              b. Click on Sequence Menu > Select Editing mode Custom

              c. Select Preview File Format as Microsoft AVI or any of P22014-04-29_0428.png

Please update if this resolve your issue.

          Regards,

          Sandeep
