          Hi there,

Thanks for the question. At the moment, there are no plans to automatically move our customers' files from one service to the other; if you need some of your sent files to continue to be available, we recommend downloading them from SendNow (if necessary) and re-uploading to Acrobat.com/Adobe Send, where you can continue to manage and monitor access to those files, or share new links (either public links or personal invitations) for those files. Please let me know if you need any help with this process or if you have any other questions.

          Best regards,

          Rebecca

            Hi,

I am subscriber of SendNow and like it.

I would like to see if its possible to request that Adobe help in moving the files from SendNow Accounts to the new Adobe.com/Send when it becomes operational. I have an entire graphic novel, readying for publication, on my SendNow folder now. As they are full color, illiustrated files it takes 2-3 hours to upload 20 pages (And there are 450 pages in the book). As I say, we are readying for publication and so must share these files with my publisher/marketing head of publisher/creatives/reviewers etc., and spending a solid week to upload again will require that I stay up nights while I work all day.

I want to keep my files with you, though. Its a safe, dependable service and well like among my collaborators. So please see if there is something that can be done to help assisting in the transfer.

              Hi Anne,

Unfortunately, there's not going to be any auto-transfer button to press to move files from one service to another. Do you have the files stored locally on your computer? I realize it's still more work than just having these files magically appear at Acrobat.com, but if you can upload them from your computer to your Acrobat.com account, you can share them from there (instead of downloading from SendNow and re-uploading each file). Even with the number of documents you're talking about, it shouldn't take too terribly long just to add them to your Acrobat.com account. About how big is each file? Let me know if you'd like to talk this one out any further; I'd be happy to help you figure out the best way to go about managing the switch.

Thanks for the post; I look forward to seeing your graphic novel once it's been published. Best of luck!

              Rebecca

                Hi Rebecca,

Thanks for the note. Yes I have them on my computer, but its the uploads

(not the downloads) that is so time consuming. Each file/page is 40MB, and

                I have 440 of them.

It takes us 20-40 minutes to do 15 pages (I was off on my earlier email).

In that time frame, It will take me 30 hours to upload -- i.e. eight hours

                between midnight and 8am X 4 = almost a week

                Help please.

                Anne

Yikes. I see where your consternation is coming from. A few questions:

Have you tried uploading more than one file at a time? If you're uploading the files to https://cloud.acrobat.com, you should be able to upload several at once. This will not only cut down on the time you've calculated, but you can also do this in the background while you get the rest of your work done during the day.

As for that 30 hours of uploading you expect... I'm wondering if you could try something:

                  1. First, try uploading a folder to https://cloud.acrobat.com that contains 5 of your 40MB files. How long does that take?
                  2. Also, test your upload speed at http://testmy.net - what are those results?

I hope we can figure out the easiest possible solution for you here, Anne - and I seriously doubt that means keeping you up at night to upload files! Let me know how the above tests go.

                  Thanks for your patience -

                  Rebecca
