gener7 May 4, 2014 11:26 AM (in response to MyYawrood)File > Save for Web has an option to remove metadata. Set "metadata" to "none" when saving as a jpeg.

JJMack May 4, 2014 11:29 AM (in response to MyYawrood)If your referring to your Image's ACR XMP sidecar file that contain the ACR settings you used develop you image and its metadata you would need to delete them if you no longer want the ACR settings.

4. Re: How Do I remove all File Info after completeing image?
MyYawrood May 4, 2014 3:09 PM (in response to gener7)I appreciate your response and your effort to try to help me. This is all stuff I know nothing about, so please bear with me. I clicked on a picture I am ready to post on Behance – and chose “Save For Web”. There is no option to “Remove Metadata”.
There is a box entitled “Metadata:” – but choices are “Copyright” – “Copyright and Contact Info” - “All Except Camera Info” – “All”.
Is there any other way I could check to remove all the info I see when I open “File Info”?
And, what does all that stuff in the Metadata box mean? I would love to look it up for myself – but have no idea where to go to find info about it.
Please help and thank you.

6. Re: How Do I remove all File Info after completeing image?
MyYawrood May 4, 2014 3:18 PM (in response to JJMack)Thank you for your response. Unfortunately I have NO clue as to what you are talking about. What is an image’s ACR? What is a sidecar?
I saw a lot of information in File Info – information that I would not want to send out when posting the image on the web – and that was the whole question – How do I get rid of it? How do I delete it?
When I click on “File Info” – a dialog box with several options pops up – I tried selecting all and then click “Delete”. (I don’t know if this is a sidecar or not). How do I delete it from my picture information?

MyYawrood May 4, 2014 3:24 PM (in response to twenty_one)Thanks for responding.
I copied the info in the “Raw File” and pasted to a Word Doc. When I went back to the picture and checked the File Info – all the information in the Raw File option was still there.
So, what are you talking about?

MyYawrood May 5, 2014 2:08 PM (in response to JJMack)I DID that ! - same as the screen shot you posted !!!
In the Preference option of Photoshop Metadata (and Both and Text) are NOT checked (turned off). I even renamed the document when I saved it for web and as a jpeg. My screen looked same as the screen shot you posted. The information is STILL in the File Info – under Raw Data.
Do you know how to get rid of it?

Word?? I'm talking about pasting the image into a new Photoshop file (I thought that was obvious, but apparently not). Select all, Copy, open a new blank Photoshop document, Paste. Or, if you like, Ctrl A, Ctrl C, Ctrl N, Enter, Ctrl V.
Done.
BTW setting metadata to "none" is in Save For Web, not save as jpeg:

That's actually a cool technique (same as SFW, but very quick) for deleting the creation date, Exif data, as well as IPTC and GPS if for certain reasons you need to keep it private.
