In ADE (Library mode), right click on the book you like to copy and select Item Info.

Check whether the book has the copy permission is allowed.

Did the right click & it stated that permission not granted???  Called the library & they said it should be permitted.   So now what?

If the distributor had not given the copy permission for that book in the ACS (Adobe Content Server), then "permission not granted" message will come.
