1. Re: No Video Showing in Program Monitor
Mark Mapes Apr 29, 2014 10:23 PM (in response to gibsonjsh)This is a puzzler.
What effects are you using? In particular, are any third party plugins in play?
By any chance, do both computers have the same model of graphics card and driver? If so, then the first thing to do is see if a new driver is available.
If they have different graphics cards or drivers, then here are a few things I'd try:
- Make a copy of the sequence, select all track items, and Remove Effects.
- Given the red bar over the Timeline, try rendering at least a segment of it.
- Create a new project and import the problem sequence from the existing project.

gibsonjsh Apr 30, 2014 1:22 PM (in response to Mark Mapes)Yes quite odd indeed. Those were some great bits of advice. I tried creating a new project and importing the problematic sequence. I ended up having to do it twice because the first time it didn't really work, but the second time everything imported correctly, and I now have video in the program monitor.
Not sure what happened, something to that other project file apparently, but now it's fixed and I believe it was thanks to just creating the new project and importing the old sequence into the new one.
Thanks for your help!

bkgarceau May 10, 2014 1:26 AM (in response to Mark Mapes)I had this same issue.
The only task I tried was importing into a new project and that worked on one go. Figured I'd work backwards if the new project failed to solve my issue.
As far as effects I am using some of the Red Giant Universe stuff... though I haven't noticed any performance issues or crashes... just trying to figure out why this happened in the first place.
