Loading Flash player

Can anyone help please?

I have tried to load Flash several times and without success.  It always ends with "failed to register"

I think I know why it won't load,  but I don't know a solution !!

A FEW days ago I disabled flash through my browser.  I tried to then update while still disabled.  Now when I do to Managed Adddons it isn't shown, and when I run the diagnostic tools it says it is not installed.  I am guessing that I will need to change an entry in the registry but I don't want to hack around until someone can advise

Try using the MSI installer http://download.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_13_active_...

Thanks for that but no joy.  I got an error message 1722

Do you know what that means?

Thanks for your help.  I have managed to clear thge old installer programme from th esystem and that allowed it to run.  Thanks for your help and prompt suggestions
