1. Re: Is there a way for Premire Pro CC to read AVI files?
Steven L. Gotz May 22, 2014 7:42 PM (in response to OE2727)It can be done on a PC, but I don't know about a Mac. You may need to transcode them on a PC before you can use the clips.

OE2727 May 22, 2014 7:58 PM (in response to Steven L. Gotz)I followed the link Steven but thats for people who have Matrox installed on their present computer (one of the options is to indicate what version of Matrox you have) I do not have Matrox presently on my system, I have footage that I saved on a Matrox system that doesnt exist anymore

5. Re: Is there a way for Premire Pro CC to read AVI files?
OE2727 May 22, 2014 8:40 PM (in response to Steven L. Gotz)Yes thats what I see but if you read right above that chart on the page it says:
This section provides downloads for software, utilities and fixes, and documentation (PDFs) for all current Matrox Video end-user products.
Once you select your OS and Matrox product, all associated downloads are displayed. Select the download that you want and then click Go
On the chart under RELEASE it asks for what version of Matrox you currently have, all the instrucions point to a scenario in which you have Matrox software or hardware installed
Thanks!

6. Re: Is there a way for Premire Pro CC to read AVI files?
Steven L. Gotz May 22, 2014 8:43 PM (in response to OE2727)Download the latest one - the one have highlighted and give it a go. It can't hurt to try. I don't see why they would give away Windows versions and not Mac versions.
When they asked for the version you have, I assumed that they mean when you were downloading software for that model, not the codec.
